More than 150 archers from all over the world have registered for the World Archery Masters Championships being held the 14-18 August 2018 in Lausanne.
The list of countries represented is vast! Archers from 24 countries including Australia, Columbia and Norway are planning to come and enjoy Lausanne this summer. As of 5 March, 135 are registered to compete in the indoor event, 144 in the outdoor event and 79 in the field event (registration statistics : by country, by category and discipine).
The World Archery Excellence Centre will be hosting the first World Archery Masters Championships this summer. Three competitions will take place in the Olympic capital: indoor, outdoor, and field archery. Archers can decide to shoot one, two or all three events.
For 4 days, international archers will compete in three categories (40-49| 50-59|60-69|70+) and five disciplines (recurve, compound, instinctive bow, barebow, longbow). Visits to the city and surrounding area, plus entertainment activities will be organised for the participants during their stay.
Registration for the World Archery Masters Championships 2018 will remain open until 24 July 2018. There are limited places, so register soon to avoid disappointment.
