Last Saturday, three compound archers from the Swiss Team trained at the World Archery Excellence Centre in preparation for the World Championships in Mexico.

The three Swiss archers, Kevin Burri, Patrizio Hofer and Roman Haefelfinger visited the Excellence Centre facilities in Lausanne last Saturday.

In order prepare for the World Championships in Mexico, they participated in a simulated team competition. They were all very satisfied with their own performance and the quality of the Excellence Centre’s facilities.

“I have shot at the Excellence Centre several times this year. The facilities are great, however I haven’t had a chance to use them all yet. It is very convenient to be able to shoot all distances independent of the weather. There are very good targets and enough equipment for bow tuning. We always feel very welcome at the Excellence Centre,” said Kevin Burri.

The Swiss archers are now their way to Mexico, where their next competition will take place from the 15 to 22 October 2017.
