LESSON FOR LICENSED ARCHERS

The World Archery Excellence Centre is a development hub for archery worldwide and a sports centre for the community and organisations in Switzerland, offering courses for both the elite and beginner archer.

TRAINING CAMPS

Organized training camps will be hosted several times each year. Recurve or Compound, these specialized camps will be delivered by Experts in that field. Here you will learn tips on shooting, equipment tuning, mental aspects, competition preparation and more. Our target audience includes licensed archers from club to regional to international levels.

PRE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS TRAINING CAMP

The World Archery Excellence Centre (WAEC) is organizing an international training camp as preparation for the World Archery Championships in S’Hertogenbosh (NED).

The objective of this camp is to offer national teams competing in the World Archery championships an opportunity to improve their preparation for this important event. The training camp is planned for the period between the end of the Hyundai Archery World Cup in Antalya (May 20-26) and the start of the World Championships (June 10-16). Instead of returning home between both events, this camp offers countries that are further away from Europe a good solution to enable preparation for the World Championships while staying within Europe in the Schengen area. The “State of the Art” World Archery Excellence Centre is just 1hs flight from Amsterdam or Eindhoven. There is likely to be limited availability for training in the Netherlands due to the Para Championships being held before the World Championships.

Experts: Coaching can be requested from our international coaches (Juan Carlos Holgado (CH)-(ES), and Kyeong Su Jeoung (KOR).)

Dates: May 27 to June 8. Participants can choose arrival and departure dates.

Registration fee: Daily fee is between CHF 150 to 200 per team/day (exact fee depends on size of the team and number of days).

The World Archery Excellence Centre will provide a detailed quotation upon request. Information required is number of participants, total days, services requested.

IMPORTANT:

No transportation is provided between Geneva airport and/or Lausanne train station and the World Archery Excellence Centre. Public transport information is available on www.sbb.ch/en

Location:

World Archery Excellence Centre

Chemin du Chalet Pra Roman 12, 1000 Lausanne 25, Switzerland

Access conditions: The camp is open primarily to national teams training for the World Archery Championships in S’Hertogenbosh.

The registration fee for the training camp will be determined according to your selections: meals and services, and paid to the World Archery Excellence Centre.
